Mowogo Lodge Events and Activities

Mowogo Lodge has four Lodge functions each year, and participates in Section, Regional, and National events.

Spring Fellowship

Spring Fellowship is held in March at Camp Rainey Mountain. This weekend is the first opportunity for Order of the Arrow candidates to participate in the Ordeal and become Lodge members. This is primarily a work weekend, and Lodge members and candidates serve the Council by participating in construction and maintenance projects throughout camp.

Section E6 Conclave

Conclave is an event in April in which the eleven OA Lodges in Section E6 meet. It is a weekend of great fellowship with opportunities for training and competition in Indian Events, Lodge Administration Events and the Quest for the Golden Arrow. Hosting of the Conclave rotates between the Lodges of the Section.

PreCamp Fellowship

PreCamp Fellowship is another Ordeal/work weekend held in late May just prior to Camp Rainey Mountain opening for the Summer Camp season. This is a work weekend, and the focus is preparing the camp for the summer campers.

Fall Pow Wow

Held in September, Pow Wow is another fun weekend with competitions similar to Conclave and includes training opportunities and competitions but with the Lodge Chapters competing against each other. Lodge and Chapter Officer elections are also held.

Fall Fellowship

New for 2023, Fall Fellowship is the final Ordeal/work weekend of the year held in late November. This work weekend is held at Scoutland, and the focus is performing needed maintainance before the winter months.

Winter Banquet

Held in early January, the Winter Banquet is an evening of fellowship and feasting during which families of Lodge members join in the celebration of the accomplishments of the Lodge during the past year. Various awards are presented, and the new Lodge and Chapter leaders are inducted.

Lodge Leadership Development Conference

LLDC is a weekend-long event during which new Lodge and Chapter leaders learn the leadership skills required to carry out their new responsibilities.

National Order of the Arrow Sponsored Events

National Leadership Seminar (NLS) is a weekend long seminar where National and Regional trainers gather to provide leadership training to individuals selected by their Lodges to participate.

National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is held every other year, usually on a college campus. Thousands of OA members from around the country and the world gather for a week of fellowship, training, competition, and entertainment.
