Chris Sartain
Good evening.
We hope this finds you well.
We reach out to you to share the news of the passing of Vigil Honor Brother Chris Sartain. Chris was a very active member of Mowogo Lodge in the 1980’s and 1990’s and served multiple terms as a Chapter Chief. His brother, Vigil Honor Brother Greg Sartain, is a former Lodge Chief and, his father, Vigil Honor Brother Max Sartain, served Mowogo Lodge in many capacities sharing his gift and skill as a mason on many service projects. The Arrow in the fireplace as well as the fireplace in the Dining Hall at Rainey Mountain was designed and constructed by the Sartains.
We are grateful for the time in fellowship and service Chris shared with Mowogo Lodge and Scouting. Arrangements have not been made at this time. If you would like and feel so moved to offer something, the family has requested donations be made in Chris’s name to:
Northeast Georgia Council, BSA
P.O. Box 399
Jefferson, Georgia 30549
Please keep the Sartain family in your thoughts and prayers as they endure this difficult time.
Yours in Brotherhood,
Rusty Royston
Lodge Adviser, Mowogo Lodge
