Time to Shine...Fall Fellowship this Weekend!
Greetings, Fellow Wearers of the Arrow!
We hope this finds you well and getting excited for our second annual Fall Fellowship this weekend at Scoutland on Lake Lanier. Our LEC continues to plan, program, and work for making this another successful event. Our Service Chair and Lodge Service Adviser have plenty of service projects to better Scoutland and provide opportunities for fellowship. I hope that you will find some sense of connection and legacy in sharing this time together and in providing service at our most used Scouting property in the Northeast Georgia Council. And the most part of this event will be providing a meaningful experience full of the purpose of the Order of the Arrow for our 35+/- candidates participating in their Ordeal experience.
Our Food Services team has been preparing to deliver their usual outstanding fare. We will be have guests during the morning that will include adult leadership for the various programs offered at the council level; several of which will join us for lunch. All of these volunteers believe in Scouting as much as we do and share our love and passion for the many ways our efforts make the world a better place. I know all of you will demonstrate the best of Scouing and the Order of the Arrow for all of our guests and Ordeal Candidates this weekend!
As we gather for Fall Fellowship, let's share our gratitude for the many blessings we enjoy including the blessing of sharing a love for Scouting and the blessing of fellowship in service. See you there!
Yours in Cheerfulness,
Rusty Royston
