National Leadership Seminar November 1st - 3rd

Brothers,

The National Leadership Seminar (NLS) is less than a month away! Register now at NOARES for an incredible opportunity!

NLS and DYLC are the premier leadership training courses for the Order of the Arrow! Though NLS is a leadership training course, it is drastically different from NYLT and Wood badge. NLS/DYLC is more focused on developing you and your style as a leader compared to the development of a team as a whole taught at NYLT/WB.

NLS and DYLC are held by the Eastern Region meaning you will have the opportunity to meet and get to know different people across the country (Including some national officers!). The relationships you develop will still be there years later. I send regular texts to my NLS buddies and am even planning on going to Philmont with one next summer for the OA trail crew!

Another benefit to attending is that your chapter will receive black bear points for chapter participation. This will be a great way to help out your chapter in achieving this coveted award!

Additionally, our Section is offering scholarships for anyone going! The scholarship will take half off the cost reducing the price from $250 to $125. You can still apply for this scholarship if you already registered and I recommend you do! The scholarship application can be found here or on the Section website sectione6.oa-bsa.org.

I look forward to lots of Mowogo representation at NLS!
