Captcha Test Failing on Registration Forms

Some of you who have been attempting to register for an event in the last several weeks may have run into a captcha error when trying to process your registration.

Captcha is an anti spam test to keep automated internet software from spamming our website. Because we present all of our forms out in the open with no password protection, we must use some type of anti spam protection to keep things running smoothly.

The captcha failure encountered occured during group registration only, and is due to a bug in our registration software. We have been in contact with the developers and have installed a workaround that uses a different type of user verification which requires entering some letters and numbers. This is a bit more tedius than the invisible or check mark form of captcha, but it has us back up and supporting group registration again. This new verification method is now used on both individual and group forms.

Once the registration software has been updated with a fix, we will move back to a less cumbersome verification method.
In the mean time, sorry for any inconvenience.
