Pre-Camp Registration and Elangomat Training!

Brothers,

Pre-Camp will be held May 19th-21st and registration will close May 12th at midnight. Make sure you sign up and attend before it’s too late! This event is a great opportunity to give back to our council and Camp Rainey Mountain while having fun and meeting new people. If you are a already a Mowogo member and would like to attend the Pre-Camp event, click here to register.

As a participant, you’ll get to work alongside your chapter to do service work and prepare Camp Rainey Mountain for the summer. This is one of the best ways to meet members of your chapter and participate in what the Order of The Arrow truly embodies Cheerful Service.

If you would like to serve as an Elangomat at Pre-Camp please let your Chapter Chief know. If you have not been trained yet you can attend our last spring training on May 13th at Scoutland. The training will start at 9am and conclude around 1:30pm. Please see the email that the Lodge VCM sent out earlier this week for more details! Sign up atwww.mowogo.org Contact Lodge.vcm@mowogo.org if you have questions.

Attend our Last Elangomat Training for Spring 2023

Brothers,

I would like to remind you all of the Elangomat Training session at Scoutland (Admin Building) on Saturday 5/13/23. This is the last opportunity to get trained before PreCamp Fellowship, and we need as many trained Elangomats as possible for our Ordeal weekends in order for them to be a success. Being a member of the Elangomat Corps is an excellent opportunity for all of you to fulfill your obligation of cheerful service to others. It is also a requirement for all present Lodge Officers and Chapter Chiefs as well as a requirement for anyone hoping to become a future Lodge Officer or Chapter Chief.

Please register here Elangomat Training

As a reminder, you only need to attend one training to Elangomat at either Ordeal event. In addition, if you attend the training prior to Spring Fellowship, and then serve as an Elangomat during the 2023 Ordeal events, (Spring Fellowship, Pre-Camp, and Fall Fellowship), you will have completed the first requirement that puts you on the list to possibly be inducted as a member of the prestigious WOLF CLAN.

The training will begin at 9:00 am and end at 1:30 pm as usual.
Wear work clothes and bring work gloves, a water bottle, your own lunch, and rain gear if warranted.

Thank you all so much!

Vice Chief of Membership, Mowogo Lodge

Greetings Mowogo Lodge members,

Recently we have received emails from a number of new members who have been unable to login to the lodge website at mowogo.org. Though the website does have a login link, there is very little content on the website that is password protected, and this is mainly used for administrative access. Accordingly, the Lodge suspended adding new personal web accounts in 2020. All registration forms, blogs, newsletters, lodge information, etc. available on the mowogo.org website are accessible without logging in (no password required).

Mowogo Lodge uses a web platform call Lodgemaster to maintain information about registered members, track and manage events, send out emails, etc. All new Lodge members are sent an invitation to set up a Lodgemaster member portal account. This Lodgemaster portal account allows members to update their personal information, view the Lodge Calendar, print a membership card, and contact the Lodge.

As a number of new members have been confused about the mowogo.org login or may have forgotten the link for the Lodgemaster portal login, we have added a new quick link to the portal on our mowogo.org home page. On mowogo.org you will find a series of quick link buttons on the left side of the page for:

  • Register Ordeal Member
  • Pay Dues or Transfer
  • Request an Election
  • Lodgemaster Portal Login (NEW)

Clicking the new Lodgemaster Portal Login button will open a window to the Lodgemaster login page. The actual URL for the Lodgemaster login can be found below. Feel free to bookmark this link for future use.

https://lodgemaster-client.oa-bsa.org/

If you have forgotten your Lodgemaster member portal login credentials (your ArrowID), there is a link on the login page for Forgotten Password. For most lodge members, your ArrowID username will be the email address you have on file with the Lodge.

Please contact the Mowogo Lodge admin team at registration@mowogo.org if you continue to have any questions or difficulties with accessing the Lodgemaster member portal account.

Camp Rainey Mountain Staff Opportunity

Greetings Brothers,

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Wednesday. As a member of the Lodge, I wanted to send you all exciting opportunity. Joining a Summer Camp Staff can be a life changing idea. Camp Rainey Mountain provides the opportunity for your Scouts to grow and thrive in a fun environment. We have a few spots left to join our Highly Motivated, Truly Dedicated Staff! Opportunities start for Scouts as young as 14 years old. CRM runs for eight weeks in the summer (one week or staff training with seven weeks with campers) Starting May 28th going until July 23rd. The great thing is if your Scout has to take time off, they don’t have to be free all summer long. Scouts can work for a few weeks or for all eight. We are looking for Scouts to teach merit badges or work in our dining hall. We provide all the training they need!

If your Scout is interested, they can fill out the application here: https://forms.nega-bsa.org/view.php?id=9040594

We'll be doing a zoom interview session on Sunday, April 16th from 3 pm until 5 pm. They can sign up for a time slot here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0b4dada622a46-crmcamp#/

Thanks for all you do! I hope to be speaking with you soon. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
